Hello World

This is the first post on the rebuilt site. I moved off WordPress and built something simpler.

Why the rebuild

The old site was WordPress with Elementor — way too much overhead for what I needed. This new version is just Hugo, plain CSS, and markdown files.

What’s here

A few things I wanted:

• A clean homepage with selected projects
• A blog for writing about games, education, and whatever else
• No tracking, no cookies, no bloat

The best personal site is one you’ll actually update.

Here’s what a code block looks like:
